Cuttack, Feb 20: While, the incident of shooting a youth dead in broad daylight, has created a massive outrage in the Cuttack City, the kingpin of the case is yet at large.

With the massive protest of the locals on Thursday , the Madhupatna Police has nabbed an aide of the mastermind said police.

According to reports, on February 18 one Soumayranjan @ Rinku Jena was shot dead by bikeborne miscreants. The incident wreaked panic in the Press Colony area after the shooters killed Jena while he was enjoying a party with scores of his friends.

Taking stock of the incident,the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack confirmed that two individuals were involved in the crime. He said efforts on to apprehend the kingpin.

The modus operandi and the precise reason behind the incident will be unveiled once the kingpin is nabbed, the DCP said.
