Bhubaneswar, July 8: A malicious email to Bhubaneswar Police on Wednesday wreaked panic a Bhubaneswar court campus.

Legal proceedings were partly disrupted as armed police cordoned off the court premises for minute search & examination to rule out the presence of bombs.

According to sources, the Badagada Police received a suspicious mail today that claimed a bomb threat to the Bhubaneswar court.

The mail about the bomb scare created panic within the court complex for which armed cops rushed to the spot along with the bomb disposal squad and launched a search operation.

The teams began scanning several sensitive locations inside the court campus, with specialized equipment. The bomb disposal squad also searched for any suspicious object in the premises, essential to dispose of.

Operations are underway. The bomb disposal unit is reportedly examining two suspicious gunny bags, found from an isolated place inside the campus.
