Mumbai, July 28: After Manu Bhaker scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman and the fifth Indian overall to win an Olympic medal in shooting, Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate the young shooter for her remarkable achievement.

India's previous medals in shooting came during the London Olympics in 2012, where Vijay Kumar won silver in the rapid-fire pistol event, and Gagan Narang secured bronze. After being disqualified in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics due to a pistol malfunction, Bhaker bounced back to clinch a historic bronze in Paris.
