Berhampur, Dec 10: The body of a man was found lying on roadside at Pratappur area under Badagada police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district today.
The deceased has been identified as Nilu Bisoyi (30), a resident of Jagannathpur Sasan.
Though the exact reason behind Nilu’s death is yet to be ascertained, his family members alleged that he has been murdered by his elder brother over a land dispute between the two.
According to the deceased’s wife, Nilu’s brother and father-in-law picked him up from his house last night.
The duo murdered Nilu and later dumped his body on roadside, alleged Nilu’s wife.
On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
It is worth mentioning that quarrels had been ensuing between the two brothers frequently over the land dispute.
