Tehran, March 4: Mohammad Mokhber, a senior aide to the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has firmly stated that Iran has no intention of entering negotiations with the United States. He emphasized that Tehran is prepared to continue its conflict with both the US and Israel for as long as necessary. Mokhber made these comments during an interview with Iranian state television.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Ghalibaf vowed to seek justice for innocent schoolchildren who were killed in a US-Israeli airstrike on the first day of the ongoing war. Sharing the emotional testimony of a mother who lost her child in the attack, Ghalibaf reiterated that Iran would not rest until the blood of these innocent children was avenged.

As the conflict in the Middle East entered its fifth day, Iran’s position hardened, and it escalated its retaliatory actions against US and Israeli targets. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) confirmed that it had launched its 17th round of strikes targeting US and Israeli assets, signaling the intensifying nature of the conflict.

‘Trump Betrayed Diplomacy’

In a related development, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused former US President Donald Trump of sabotaging diplomatic efforts. Araghchi remarked on social media platform X, "When complex nuclear negotiations are treated like a real estate transaction, and when big lies cloud realities, unrealistic expectations can never be met. The result? Bombing the negotiation table out of spite."

He further added, “Trump betrayed diplomacy and the American people who elected him.”

The statements highlight Iran’s defiant stance in the ongoing Middle East conflict and its deepening animosity towards the US and Israel.Bottom of Form
