Bhubaneswar, Sept 30: The infighting in Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has surfaced again in the Bhubaneswar unit.
Sushant Rout, the BJD Bhubaneswar district President has issued show-cause notices to four party leaders Jena, Biranchi Supakara, Rajesh Patra, and Bibek Swain for their alleged anti-party activities.
These leaders have been asked to explain their actions within 15 days or face disciplinary actions.
Sushant Rout emphasized the importance of unity and discipline within the party, stating that any actions threatening these values would be addressed promptly.
This development follows a series of internal conflicts and public disagreements among BJD members, which have raised questions about the party’s internal cohesion.
The notices are seen as an attempt to curb dissent and reinforce party discipline ahead of upcoming political challenges.
