Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: Tech giant, Microsoft Co-Founder and philanthropist Bill Gates called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas, in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
Sharing a post on his X handle Odisha Chief Minister Patnaik informed it in the evening.
Naveen wrote, he had a wonderful discussion with Gates on Odisha’s technology-driven farmer empowerment initiatives, several welfare initiatives like Jaga Mission, Mission Shakti, School Transformation, BSKY and healthcare transformation.
In another post on his X handle, Patnaik appreciated Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for supporting innovation in extending inclusive benefits to people of Odisha.
During the discussion Patnaik thanked Gates for his recognition to the Odisha government with the welfare initiatives and its success in different sectors through 5T transformative governance.
