New Delhi, November 18: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Keshav Prasad Maurya, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the central observer for the election of the legislature party leader in Bihar.

Additionally, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and former Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti have been appointed as co-observers for the process.

A statement from BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh confirmed the appointments, stating, "The Parliamentary Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the central observer for the election of the Leader of the Legislature Party in Bihar."
