Bhubaneswar, February 17: The family of Sarthak Mohapatra, a merchant navy cadet from Odisha who went missing at sea off the coast of Mauritius on February 3, has accused the shipping company operating the vessel of not providing adequate support.

Sarthak's mother, Rashmita Mohapatra, and his uncle, Santosh Sahu, traveled to Singapore to assist authorities in their search for him after the vessel,EA Jersey, docked at a port there. Despite their efforts, they allege a lack of cooperation from Anglo-Eastern, the company that operates the ship.

However, Anglo-Eastern denied these claims, stating that it had fully supported the family during their visit and had been cooperative in all matters related to the search.
