Bhubaneswar, December 6: Over 6.23 lakh applications for inclusion in the Subhadra Yojana are currently under scrutiny, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida in the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Saturday.

In response to a question raised by BJD MLA Ganeshwar Behera, Parida explained that the applications are being examined for eligibility and verification at various levels, including coordination with district administrations. The process aims to prevent duplication and involves confirming details like identity, age, and previous instalment status.

The applications primarily include women who turned 21 this year and those who missed out during earlier registration phases. Following verification, eligible applicants will receive funds for all three Subhadra Yojana instalments in March 2026.
