Mumbai, July 30: Veteran Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a video on his Instagram, intending to highlight the enduring spirit of hustle in his career. The clip juxtaposed a scene from what he initially claimed was 'Agneepath' with a recent video of himself. However, some fans quickly pointed out that the first clip was actually from 'Akayla', not 'Agneepath'.
Acknowledging the mistake, Amitabh Bachchan promptly corrected himself through an Instagram Stories post, apologizing for the confusion and thanking his well-wishers for pointing it out. 'Agneepath' holds significant importance in his career, known for its intense narrative where the lead character seeks revenge for his father's death, a role for which Bachchan had to dub twice to perfect his voice.
The film was later remade with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, and featured a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri, and Zarina Wahab. Katrina Kaif also made a special appearance in the popular song 'Chikni Chameli'.
