Bhubaneswar, May 15: In a tragic incident, a woman died after falling from the second floor of an OYO hotel at Jagamara in Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Nayagarh.
Sources said, the woman was reportedly in the hotel room with her boyfriend, identified as Bibhu Pratihari. The woman's boyfriend was found in the hotel room, acting erratically, and was taken into police custody. Police are investigating whether the fall was accidental or if she was pushed.
Authorities are also reviewing surveillance video and interrogating hotel guests and staff to piece together the actions leading up to the woman's death.
