Bhubaneswar to host Raksha Pension Samadhan programme for defense pensioners on July 10

In order to help veterans and their families, old women and people living in remote areas where there are no computers & internet facilities, Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojans are organised at various places across the country to resolve their problems.

Bhubaneswar, July 8: The 198th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojana (RPSA) will be organsied at the East Coast Railway headquarters (Rail Sadan) auditorium in Bhubaneswar on July 10.

The Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan is an outreach programme of the Ministry of Defence designed to resolve grievances and provide handholding support for defense pensioners on the SPARSH portal (System for Pension Administration – Raksha).

According to an official release, the office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions), Pryagraj will be holding the 198th Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan at ECoR auditorium from 8.30 AM under the aegis of Headquarters Chhattisgarh & Odisha Sub Area and Station Headquarters, Bhubaneswar for redressal of pension related grievances of the Defence Pensioners including Defence Civilians residing in Bhubaneswar and adjoining areas.

“Pensioners residing in Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas are requested to attend above RPSA. Pensioners should quote their name, rank group, Regimental/IC No, PPO No, details of Bank, Treasury, Unit/ Name and address of Record office/Head office, specific grievances, date of discharge and their address with mobile number and e mail id and PIN code. SPARSH pensioners are requested to carry their Mobile phone registered with SPARSH,” it stated.

SPARSH is world’s largest pension system for defence personnel. It stands as a transparent, inclusive and efficient model of governance - transforming pension administration from fragmentation to integration and from delay to dignity.
