Bhubaneswar, May 14: A grand gallantry parade, ‘Parakram Shobhayatra’, was organized today in Bhubaneswar to honor the valor and bravery of the Indian Army under the Operation Sindoor initiative.

The event, held at the Kalinga Stadium, marked the beginning of the celebrations, with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi officially inaugurated the procession.

 

The parade was a tribute to the courage and sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces, and it aimed to highlight the readiness of India's military to defend its sovereignty and dignity.

 

In his speech, Chief Minister Majhi emphasized, "Our armed forces are always ready to give a befitting reply to any enemy. The Tricolor is a symbol of pride and honor for all Indians, and protecting its sanctity is our foremost duty."

 

During the event, Majhi also reiterated the importance of unity. "We must safeguard the honor of the nation and our people," he added.

 

The parade was attended by several prominent political figures, including Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, and other key officials. The procession showcased the valor of the armed forces, featuring military personnel, veterans, and representatives from various defense sectors.

 

The event was not only a celebration of India's military strength but also a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by the armed forces in protecting the nation's sovereignty.

 

Operation Sindoor has been a significant initiative to honor military valor and provide recognition to the contributions of the Indian Army in safeguarding national security.
