Bhubaneswar Durga Puja 2024: CM Mohan Majhi visits pandals

Bhubaneswar, Oct 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited various Durga Puja pandals in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Ashtami celebrations today.
Majhi first took blessing of Goddess Durga at Old Town mandap accompanied by Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh and other BJP leaders. Later, he visited Sudarpada Durga Puja mandap where he offered 108 lotuses to the Goddess. Later, he interacted with common people at a special chamber at the puja mandap.
After Sudarpada, he reached at Baramunda puja mandap followed by Nayapalli and Rasulgarh.
People in large numbers rushed to have a close look of the new Chief Minister of Odisha. Special arrangements were made at Sudarpada Durga Puja mandap under Ekamra-Bhubaneswar Assembly constituency.
He was accorded rousing welcome by puja committee members and public at every puja pandal as he arrived to take blessings at various mandaps.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to visit puja pandals in Cuttack on Saturday on the occasion of Navami, Singh added.
