Bhubaneswar, Sep 17: The capital city is all agog to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will touch down the temple city in a shortwhile.
“Leaving for Bhubaneswar. It is very special to be among the wonderful people of Odisha to launch SUBHADRA, an important scheme of the Odisha Government. This scheme will boost women empowerment and ensure financial independence for our Nari Shakti. Several other works will also be launched in the programme,” the Prime Minister posted on X.
To welcome Modi on his birthday today, several cultural progrmmes are being performed in Bhubaneswar. About one lakh people are expected to gather at Janata Maidan, where the PM will address the gathering.
While Biju Patnaik International Airport to Janata Maidan has been decked with posters of Modi, tribal dance and other cultural programmes are being organised to welcome Modi.
