Bhadrak commemorates centennial anniversary of Gandhiji’s visit

Bhadrak, Mar 25: People of Bhadrak are commemorating Gandhiji’s visit to the district with joy and gaiety. In order to mark Gandhi’s arrival at Bhadrak on March 25, 1921, the Centenary Committee and Shanti Pratisthan organised a public meeting at Charampa railway station today. {"id":104191,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} At the same time, Bhadrak MP Manjulata Mandal, MLA Sanjiv Mallick and Bhanaripokhari MLA Prafulla Samal unveiled a plaque of Gandhiji at Charampa Station. Rotary Club, Bhadrak Midtown chapter has organised a series of welfare works in the town on this occasion. Apart from it, a number of institutions joined a peace march along the town that concluded at Gandhi ground. On the other hand, Bhadrak district administration organised a slew of events in memory of the legend.
