Bengaluru shocker: Will Karnataka police spare Muktiranjan’s brother in salesgirl Mahalaxmi’s brutal murder case!

Bengaluru, Sept 28:  A pall of gloom has yet descended in the Vyalikaval area and across the Silcon City Bengaluru coupled up with Dhusuri area in Odisha’s Bhadrak district after the brutal killing of salesgirl Mahalaxmi and consequent suicide of the kingpin, Muktiranjan Roy  a few days ago.

The family members of Mahalaxmi, who was chopped off into pieces and stuffed in a refrigerator by her fiancé Muktiranjan, mourned the death of the dear one, survived by a daughter, a little champ of 8 years and her husband, estranged for years together. 

On the other hand, the Bhuinpur village under the Dhusuri police limit soaks in tear, in solidarity and condolence to Muktiranjan’s mother who weeps round the clock, loosing her son who committed suicide following the gruesome murder of his fiancée in the Silcon Valley on September 3. 

Mukti , the eldest among the three sons of the bereaved mother, ended himself before facing any police atrocity or whip of judiciary on the charges of killing, chopping off the body into simpler pieces and stuffing them in the refrigerator, later hanging self at the village graveyard from a tree.

Though Mukti was no more to be punished for his unforeseen sin, the Karnataka Police apprehended his younger brother from a rented house in the city. It was because; he was residing in Bengaluru with his elder brother Mukti who was at large, a few days to killing Mahalaxmi inhumanely.

During interrogation, the lad said that he was well aware of the affair and odd love story of Mahalaxmi and his brother. He used to counsel Mukti a few days back to the fateful incident, as he looked sulky and stressed due to unavoidable misunderstanding with his fiancée Mahalaxmi. However, he revealed nothing about the murder episode, what his elder brother had committed in his fiancée’s rented house at Vyalikaval on 3^rd September late at night. Amid violent grill, he regurgitated that Mukti had fled for the native place in Odisha’s Bhadrak after he confided regarding the horrific sin.

Based on it, a team of Karnataka Police rushed for Odisha whereas Mukti’s mobile location misled the sleuths to navigate Odisha via West Bengal. Meanwhile, Mukti continued changing his location more frequently riding on a scooter anticipating police interception. When he smelled the signature of police in Kolkata he escacped for Berhampur where his yongest brother was staying. He again made a ride to Odisha fearing arrest and ultimately committed suicide before arrival of the Karnataka police at his native place.

Muktiranjan’s family sources said that, both of their sons are under the ambit of police investigation. The younger one of the two sons is under the custody of the Karnataka Police who is reportedly being tortured both physically and mentally. Similarly, the youngest, who is preparing for performing the death rituals of Muktiranjan at his village is also under police scanner. 

The Karnataka police are yet exercising to unearth the whole episodes of the heart-wrenching crime scene. As the CCTV footages verified by the cops revealed that two scooter-laden miscreants were seen entering Mahalaxmi’s bedroom in the wee hours, who are suspected to have killed, and left the chopped off body parts as per their blueprint inside a refrigerator in unison.Thus, police is working out a roadmap to reach out Mukti’s aide, who appears in the CCTV features riding the scooter with him.

According to some wise counsels, the sleuths might have detained one of Mukti’s younger brothers on the charges of concealing facts in connection with the sensational murder case or to rule out his connivance in the terrific killing of the woman, as the aide is yet to be ascertained.

With the arrest of the younger son and the tragic end of the eldest one, who was the only bread-earner for the family, the bereaved parents appeal police to release him for his innocence.
