Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain today said that as of October 31 this year, a total of 13,09,250 educated youths have registered with various District Skill Development-cum-Employment Offices across the state.
In response to a query from MLA Arvind Mohapatra, Swain informed the Odisha Legislative Assembly that 37,371 educated youths received government jobs across multiple departments between June 2024 and October 2025.
Additionally, 26,412 candidates were shortlisted for placement in private sector organisations through drives conducted by District Skill Development-cum-Employment Offices from April 2024 to September 2025.
The minister further noted that the Directorate of Employment’s registration portal functions as an integrated platform connecting job seekers with both public and private employment opportunities.
