Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: The film ‘Dhurandhar’ is smashing records at the box office, with its second Monday earnings surpassing those of the first Monday. The film’s popularity continues to grow day by day, reflecting in steadily increasing revenues. Within just 10 days of its worldwide release, ‘Dhurandhar’ has crossed the ₹500 crore mark, making it one of the highest-grossing films of the year, currently ranking third.

On Monday, the film maintained a strong performance despite earning nearly half of what it did on its second Sunday. However, the second Monday saw higher earnings than the first Monday, which had collected ₹24.30 crore. In India, the film’s total earnings have approached ₹400 crore. On its 11th day, Dhurandhar earned ₹31.80 crore domestically, bringing its total Indian box office collection to ₹396.40 crore. Trade analysts have praised the film’s robust performance at the box office.

Dhurandhar is based on real-life events in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh plays an Indian intelligence officer who infiltrates a terrorist network operating in Lyari. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan. Akshaye Khanna portrays the antagonist, Rehman Dacoit.
