Baripada ASI caught accepting bribe by vigilance sleuths

Following the successful trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Soren from DA angle. A case has also been registered against Soren at Balasore Vigilance Police Station. Investigation is in process in this regard

Baripada, Aug 31: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday apprehended an ASI of Baripada Town Police Station in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe from a complainant.

The arrested ISI has been identified as Rama Chandra Soren. Soren was caught red handed while accepting a bribe amount of Rs 6,000 from the complainant to help him in a case registered earlier against him.

The entire bribe money has been recovered and seized.
