Bhubaneswar, Nov 12: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Wednesday announced an extension of the world-famous Cuttack Bali Yatra by one more day.

With this decision, the grand festival will now conclude on November 13, instead of the earlier scheduled date of November 12.

CM Majhi took the decision considering the overwhelming public response, growing visitor footfall, and the business activities at the fair. The extension aims to allow more people to participate in and enjoy the historic festival, which celebrates Odisha’s rich maritime heritage and trade links.

The Bali Yatra, held every year on the banks of the Mahanadi River in Cuttack, is one of Odisha’s most prominent cultural and trade fairs, drawing lakhs of visitors and traders from across the state and beyond.
