Bhubaneswar, June 9: Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday took oath as one of the Cabinet Ministers in the Modi led Government.
Vaishnav, who was serving as a former IAS officer with the government of India with different key capacities, had served as the 39th Minister of Railways. During his tenure as the Railway Minister, he brought a phenomenal change in the Indian railway regarding infrastructure and innovations.Apart from it, he served as 55th Communications Minister, and the second Electronics & Information Technology Minister in the Government of India from 2022–24.
He has been a member of the Rajya Sabha representing Odisha since 2019.
