Paralakhemundi, Sep 29: Teachers of Bhaliasahi Govt. School under R. Udaygiri block in Gajapati district set an example by celebrating the birthdays of 26 students of their school with their own money. According to sources, students from tribal areas stay in the Ashram school far from their families. To make them feel special, teachers of the school planned to celebrate their mass birthday on the school premises. Accordingly, all the teachers saved a little portion of their salary and celebrated their mass birthday. Students were seen cutting cakes, feeding sweets and receiving gifts from the teachers. “Little kids are staying here far from their family and parents. That’s the reason; we planned to celebrate the birthdays of our 26 students. We decorated the whole school and gifted them small items. We tried our best to make them feel at home as they would not miss their family on the special occasion," said Headmaster of the school Ramachandra Dalabehera.
