Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: On World Radio Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi underscored the importance of radio as a vital communication tool and the "voice of the people."

In a social media post, CM Majhi highlighted radio’s significant role in connecting communities, spreading awareness, and fortifying democracy. He emphasized that radio continues to serve as a powerful medium to inform, educate, and inspire millions across generations, bridging the gap between rural and urban areas while promoting social harmony.

"Radio is not merely a medium of communication; it is the voice of the people, a vital bridge that connects communities, and a trusted companion in moments of need. From our villages to our cities, it continues to inform, educate, and inspire millions across generations. On this occasion, we celebrate the enduring power of radio in strengthening democracy, spreading awareness, nurturing social harmony, and amplifying the voice of every citizen,” CM Majhi said in his post on social media.
