Army officer assault case: NCW directs Odisha DGP to submit ATR within 3 days

Bhubaneswar, Sep 19: The National Commission for Women (NCW) has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) of Odisha to submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) in connection with an assault case involving an Army officer and his fiancee.

The DGP has been asked to submit the ATR within three days.

The case involves physical attack on the army officer and his fiancée at Bharatpur Police Station in Bhubaneswar on September 15. 

The NCW's intervention highlights the seriousness of the incident, especially considering the involvement of serving military personnel and his fiancee.
