Pipili, Mar 6: Two persons were killed and another sustained critical injuries in a road accident on National Highway-316 near Bhogua banka under Pipili police limits on Friday.

According to reports, three persons were travelling on a motorcycle when a Hyva truck hit the bike. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the death of two riders on the spot.

The third person, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

On receiving information, Pipili police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident. The driver of the Hyva truck reportedly fled from the scene after the accident.
