Bhubaneswar, Sept 25: A team of Odisha Crime Branch today visited Patharagadia village on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar city in connection with assault of the Army Captain and his fiancée at Bharatpur police station.
The Crime Bracnch sleuths reached Patharagadia village with the victimised Army Captain and his fiancée, where they were reportedly molested by a group of youths.
The Crime Branch team after reaching the crime spot interrogated the Army Officer and his fiancée, regarding the ordeals they faced on the spot on the fateful night.
Later, the statements of the Army Captain and his fiancée were corroborated with their complaints and the CCTV footage, sourced from domestic residences and street-mounted CCTVs.
Worth mentioning, earlier in the morning, the Odisha Crime Branch had summoned the Captain and his fiancée, to record their statements, as a part of the investigation.
