Baripada, June 24: In a shocking incident, six armed miscreants looted approximately ₹8 to ₹9 lakh from the Kuchai branch of Odisha Gramya Bank in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place around 2:30 PM, when the assailants stormed into the bank premises and held staff at gunpoint. They proceeded to seize cash from the counter before fleeing the scene with the stolen money.
On being informed, local police arrived promptly and launched an investigation into the incident. A manhunt has been initiated to trace and apprehend the culprits, who remain at large.
