Hyderabad Police file 100-page chargesheet naming 23 individuals today.

Legal complications for South Indian superstar Allu Arjun have intensified following the tragic events at the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere. The Hyderabad Police officially submitted a comprehensive 100-page chargesheet to the court on Saturday, focusing on the fatal crowd surge at Sandhya Theatre that occurred in early December 2024.

This legal document names 23 individuals as accused in the Allu Arjun Pushpa 2 stampede case. Investigators have specifically listed the National Award-winning actor as Accused No. 11 (A-11). The chargesheet follows a meticulous investigation into the chaotic scene at RTC X Roads, where a massive influx of fans led to a stampede that claimed the life of a woman and left her young son with severe injuries.

The Chikkadpally Police, who are leading the probe, have primarily targeted the theatre management and event organizers for what they describe as "grave lapses" in security planning. According to the police findings, the sudden surge of fans was poorly managed, leading to a complete breakdown of order. Aside from the lead actor, several members of his private security detail and representatives from the film's production house are also featured in the list of accused.

While the primary accused include the owners and managers of Sandhya Theatre, the police emphasize that the responsibility for public safety at such high-profile promotional events rests with the organizers. The Allu Arjun Pushpa 2 stampede case has sent shockwaves across the film industry, including in regions like Odisha, where the actor enjoys a massive and dedicated following.

As the court takes cognisance of this 100-page filing, the legal proceedings will now scrutinize the specific roles played by each of the 23 named individuals. This development marks a significant step in seeking justice for the victims of the December 4 tragedy.
