Bhubaneswar, Sept 19: Arindam Roy and Anubhav Mohanty are coming together after 16 years in the upcoming Odia movie RAM ito released n Durga Puja. The two stars had shared the screen in the 'Kalishankar' movie in 2007.
According to reports, Anubhav has a cameo role in the action-filled movie.
RAM is a bilingual film to be released in Odia and Bengali starring Arindam Roy and Bengali heroine Rupsha Mukhopadhyay.
The movie is filled with a deadly fight between Bollywood bad boy Rahul Dev and Arindam, said director Ashok Pati.
Arindam is returning with the movie after a long gap under his home production Ratna Films. Asad Nizam and Lincon composed the music for the film.
Three Odia movies – RAM, Cuttack Sesaru Arambha, and Malyagiri are all set to clash at the box office on the occasion of Durga Puja 2023.
Anasmish Productions and Amara Studio are jointly producing 'Katak' starring superstars Sidhant Mohapatra and Anu Choudhary. The Odia film is directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo. Produced by Naveen Bhandari and Pritam Sahu, this film is set to release during the Durga Puja.
Malyagiri is another Odia movie to hit the screens this Durga Puja starring Babushan Mohanty and Shivani Sangita in lead roles. Prithvi Raj Pattnaik is directing the movie.
