Bhubaneswar, March 12: The Khurda District and Sessions Court in Bhubaneswar was placed on high alert on Thursday following an anonymous email warning of explosives planted within the court premises.

In response to the threat, the Commissionerate Police quickly evacuated all individuals inside the court complex, including lawyers, staff, litigants, and visitors, to ensure their safety. Strict security measures were put in place at all entry points, while a specialized sniffer dog team was deployed to conduct an intensive search both inside and around the court building.

The authorities are currently working to identify the source of the threat and have initiated a full investigation.
