Baripada, Jan 2: In a tragic incident, three killed on NH 220 in a road mishap on Friday where a bus hit a bike from the forefront.
The mishap took place near Ranibandh village in Rairangpur region this afternoon.
Though the deceased are yet to be identified, they are believed to be the natives of Tiring area.
According to report, a private bus was from Rairangpur was heading towards Keonjhar when it collided with the bike, carrying three persons.As a result, three riders were crushed to death on the spot.
On being informed, police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot to recover the victims.
A case was registered in this connection and the bodies were sent for post-mortem after other legal compliances, said the Police.
