Jammu, July 12: More than 266,000 pilgrims have participated in the ongoing Amarnath Yatra during the last 13 days, with an additional 4,434 devotees departing for Kashmir on Friday.
Officials from the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) reported that there has been sustained enthusiasm among pilgrims, with no decrease in arrivals. As of Thursday, since its commencement on June 29, over 266,000 devotees have visited the holy cave for 'darshan'. This figure includes more than 10,000 pilgrims who utilized helicopter services from both south and north base camps to reach the shrine.
