Bhubaneswar, August 24: The new Mohan Majhi-led BJP government has renamed ‘Mo College’ scheme of the previous BJD government as ‘Ama Gaurav, Ama College’.
The name and logo of ‘Mo College’ have been changed on social media platforms X and Facebook. Even the ‘Ama Gaurav, Ama College’ has been mentioned in the report of Assembly Standing Committee Meeting.
The Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government had launched the Mo College Abhiyan in November 2019 to connect global Odia alumni to their alma mater in Odisha and Akash Das Nayak was appointed the chairperson of the Mo College campaign.
Besides, the stated government had appointed vice-chairman, CEO, Mo College OSD, office manager and office assistant.
Akash Das Nayak resigned from the chairperson post before 2024 elections Since then several posts like chairperson, CEO, OSD and other posts have laid vacant. Only manager is operating the office with few employees, which is hampering several developmental initiatives taken in collaboration with several other franchises.
