Jaleswar, Feb 14: Two people were critically injured after a collision between two trucks that caught fire in Jaleswar on Friday night. The accident occurred near the Basta bypass on National Highway No. 60, under the jurisdiction of the Basta police station, when a coal-laden truck and a trailer truck collided.
The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire.
The Basta fire brigade quickly responded to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control. The critically injured individuals were immediately rushed to the nearby Basta Hospital for medical treatment.
The police are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
