Bhubaneswar, Feb 6: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi watched the premiere of the Hindi feature film “Godaan” at his official residence in Bhubaneswar. Speaking to the media after the screening, the Chief Minister announced that the film would be declared tax-free in the state. He also informed that a cow research centre would be established in Odisha at an early date.

The Chief Minister said he was emotionally touched by the film and described “Godaan” as a family-oriented movie that promotes traditional values. He added that the film sends a strong message on Sanatan Dharma and emphasizes the importance of family bonding, especially between parents and children.

The premiere was organised ahead of the film’s scheduled release on February 6. Mines and Steel Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, the film’s director and producer Binod Kumar Chaudhary, legislators, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
