Mumbai, Sept. 6:Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has changed the name of his forthcoming film 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue.' It has been renamed as 'Mission Ranigan: The Great Bharat Rescue.'  Akshay issued the poster of his upcoming film with the new name.

With the ongoing debate of changing the Nation’s name from India to Bharat, the producer has given a new title to his film featured on the themes of the great India, said sources.

However, the ace production office has not made anything public regarding the reason for changing the film’s name during a short time.

Worth mentioning, the film is inspired by a real-life incident at “Raniganj Coalfield” and inspired by the heroic act of Late Jaswant Singh Gill who led Bharat's coal mine rescue mission. The heroic Jaswant Singh Gill played a significant role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989 which was a successful rescue mission in Bharat against all odds.

Among others,  Star actor Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola and Dibyendu Bhattacharya will appear in the prime characters.
