Akhilesh accuses EC of ‘Vote Theft’, says SP will contest 2027 UP Polls in alliance Raebareli (UP), September 24: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday accused the Election Commission of facilitating the alleged “vote theft” of the PDA bloc in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and said the party would contest the 2027 polls in alliance. Addressing a public meeting in Raebareli after arriving in the city on the party’s ‘PDA Rath’, Yadav alleged that the Election Commission had lost the confidence of the people. He claimed that had the alleged irregularities not occurred during the 2022 elections, the Samajwadi Party would have formed the government in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav coined the term PDA in June 2023, referring to Pichhde (backward classes), Dalits and Alpsankhyak (minorities). Raebareli (UP), September 24: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday accused the Election Commission of facilitating the alleged “vote theft” of the PDA bloc in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and said the party would contest the 2027 polls in alliance.

Addressing a public meeting in Raebareli after arriving in the city on the party’s ‘PDA Rath’, Yadav alleged that the Election Commission had lost the confidence of the people.

He claimed that had the alleged irregularities not occurred during the 2022 elections, the Samajwadi Party would have formed the government in Uttar Pradesh.

Yadav coined the term PDA in June 2023, referring to Pichhde (backward classes), Dalits and Alpsankhyak (minorities).
