Cuttack, Nov 4: The shrine of Baba Dhabaleswar in Athgarh, Cuttack district, has been bustling with various rituals today as devotees have gathered in large numbers to witness the revered ‘Harihara Besa’ of Baba Dhabaleswar.

The rituals for the ‘Harihara Besa’ began early this morning marking the auspicious moment when Trayodashi ended and Chaturdashi began. Following the sacred dressing of Baba Dhabaleswar, the rituals of Gajabhog and Taran were offered to the deity. These offerings were then distributed among the devotees who are observing the Bada Osha allowing them to break their fasts in reverence.

Yesterday, Trayodashi was celebrated, and today marks the Chaturdashi of the holy month of Kartika. The temple has been filled with excitement as devotees participate in these cherished traditions. The rituals and offerings hold deep significance for the followers, with Gajabhog being a particular highlight, as it is believed to be Baba Dhabaleswar ‘s favorite.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the celebrations, a heavy police officials has been deployed at the temple, allowing for peaceful darshan of the deity.
