Balasore, Jan 18: In a tragic incident, two youth motorists were killed in Balasore on Sunday in a hit-and-run case occurred in the morning.

The incident took place on State Highway 57 near Ambapunja in Odisha’s Balasore district.

The deceased are reportedly from Bag village under the Kamarda police station limits.

According to report, an unknown vehicle violently struck a motorcycle that caused both riders and the two-wheeler to plunge off a bridge.

Upon receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured riders to Jaleswar hospital, where doctors received both dead.

Police seized the bodies and sent them for post mortem examinations.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to identify the vehicle, tossed the bike killing the two youths, said police.
