Jajpur, Jan 6: A youth from Jajpur district has been arrested for allegedly downloading and sharing obscene videos involving minors. The videos were circulated across several mobile phones, leading to multiple complaints at the Cyber Police Station. Following these complaints, an investigation was underway.

The accused, a resident of Mangalpur locality, had been regularly downloading obscene videos on his mobile phone. He then forwarded these videos to several other phones, causing the videos to go viral. The Cyber Police initiated an investigation after receiving complaints about the incident.

By utilizing tracking techniques, the police traced the mobile phone from which the videos were being forwarded. The data from the IP address and phone location led them to the suspect in Jajpur. The accused was arrested and taken into custody for further questioning. He has been charged and sent to court.

The Cyber Police are now investigating the various aspects.

Further inquiries are underway to understand the full extent of the crime and to hold those responsible accountable.
