Kendrapara, Aug 16: Vigilance sleuths today conducted a simultaneous raid at five locations in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Kendrapara in connection with the Additional Civil Supplies Officer of Kendrapara on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The accused Additional Civil Supplies Officer of Kendrapara has been identified as Pradeep Kumar Mohapatra.
The searches are being led by four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), one Assistant Commandant, five Inspectors, and other supporting staff, based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge of Vigilance, Cuttack.
The raids are being carried out at the following locations:
- His single-storeyed building located over plot no 143/1720 at Madhupatna (Kalyani Nagar), Cuttack.
- Double-storeyed building over plot no. 145/1864/4634 at Lingipur, Bhubaneswar.
- Office chamber of Mohapatra located at the office of CSO, Kendrapara.
- His paternal house located at Nuapada, Cuttack.
- House of his relative located at Kalyani Nagar in Cuttack.
Searches are underway in this connection.
