Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: The Centre is going to fund at least 92 railway over bridges in Odisha.

Earlier the projects were decided to be 50:50 cost sharing ventures between the state and the Indian Railways.

With the submission of the Odisha Government, the center agreed to bear the entire costs of all 92 railway over bridges across the state, said a CMO release on Thursday.

The Union Railway Ministry formally approved the proposal, paving the way for the construction of these critical infrastructure projects in Odisha.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi acknowledged the Prime Minister’s consistent focus on Odisha’s development, particularly in enhancing the state’s rail infras for a Viksit Odisha.
