Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: Aadhar is not a mandatory pre-requisite program for admission. Commissioner cum Secretary, School and Mass Education Department Aswathy S informed all the district education officers in this regard.
“It was instructed earlier that the admission should be hassle free and smooth. In some schools HMs are insisting the parents submit an Aadhar card for admission. It is clarified that children must be allowed to take admission in schools with or without Aadhar card”, read the notice.
