Bhubaneswar, Feb, 12: In the run-up to Lok Sabha and Assembly election, a host of central BJP leaders will be visiting Odisha this month.
State BJP president Manmohan Samal informed the media here on Monday that former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan will arrive here on Tuesday to review the preparation for the Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur Parliamentary constituency.
Similarly, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will arrive in Odisha on February 15 to review the preparation in Puri parliamentary constituency for the upcoming election. Gadkari will also visit Shree Jagannath Temple for darshan
Besides this, Defence Minister Rajanath Singh is slated to visit Odisha on February 22. He will attend several programs in Odisha.
Similarly, the BJP president J.P. Nadda is likely to arrive in February end on to oversee the party activities ahead of the election.
On February 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Sambalpur to inaugurate the IIM- Sambalpur Campus and laid the foundation stone for several projects worth over 68,000 crores. He also addressed the massive Gathering at Guarantte Samavesh during his visit to Sambalpur.
Party Odisha in charge Bijay Pal Singh Tomar is already in Bhubaneswar and holding meetings with leaders and office bearers and making strategies to counter the opponent in the ensuing election in Odisha.
