Rayagada, May 8: At least 64 school students have been found Covid-19 positive in Rayagada on Sunday. It has been revealed after RTPCR tests were conducted in Katalaguda Anwesha hostel and Hatamuniguda Government high school by a health check-up team. Sources said, two teams of the Health Department on Saturday conducted RTPCR tests of the students in the Katalaguda Anwesha hostel located near the Rayagada Town. Swab samples of as many as 44 boarders were tested Covid-19 positive, said the reports. Similarly, 20 students of the Hatamuniguda High School in the Bissam Cuttack block were found Corona positive during the scan. Following this, the students have been asked to adhere to the Covid appropriate behaviour. At the same time, the school authorities were asked to keep watch on the health conditions of the positive students.
