Berhampur, Dec 12: Bail pleas of BJD leader Bikrama Panda, one of the accused persons of Advocate Pitabas Panda assassination case, was again deferred on Friday.

Though the hearing was concluded, verdict of the high-profile case was put on hold today.

Apart from Panda’s pleas, bail pleas of 4 other accomplices including the sharp shooter, were also deferred.

According to sources, the bail pleas of the former BJD Legislator were due for hearing today. The ADJ Berhampur concluded the hearing. However, the verdict was kept in abeyance. Thus, the bail petition of Panda yet hung despite his frantic endeavour.
