Mysuru, November 27: Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Congress MLC and son of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, expressed confidence that his father will complete his full five-year term as CM, highlighting that there are no allegations or scams linked to him.

Addressing growing concerns within the party, Yathindra emphasized that Siddaramaiah has been running an effective administration and enjoys strong support from MLAs. He added that any calls for a change in leadership would be decided by the Congress high command, stressing that the party leadership will take the final call on such matters.

The issue of leadership has become more prominent with speculation about a possible change of CM after the Congress government reached the halfway mark of its term on November 20. This has reignited discussions about a rumored "power-sharing" arrangement between Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D K Shivakumar, which had surfaced in 2023.
