Bhubaneswar, Mar 7: Under the directive of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chairman 5T, and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian interacted with the public of Angul and Sambalpur Districts over video conference.
Pandian's outreach spanned various locations including Badapadia in Kishorenagar and Barasahi Field in Chhendipada of Angul district, as well as Rengali High School Field, Jamadarpalli Field in Sambalpur, and Subash Maidan in Hirakud of Sambalpur district.
The Naveen Patnaik-led government achieved a historic milestone by swiftly addressing the highest number of public grievances received in a single day, and sanctioning projects simultaneously.
Responding to the petitions submitted by attendees, the Chief Minister approved 283 projects valued at Rs 10.47 crore in Angul district and 408 projects worth Rs 12.59 crore in Sambalpur district on the same day. Notification of the sanction orders was promptly sent to the petitioners via mobile phones.
Pandian also highlighted that since he visited Angul and Sambalpur districts in July of the previous year, projects worth Rs 886 crore have been initiated in response to petitions and feedback from the locals.
He outlined significant decisions made by the Chief Minister, including a Rs 500 increase in social security pensions for all categories, benefiting approximately 58 lakh recipients. Additionally, financial aid under the MAMATA Yojana has been raised from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000, enhancing nutrition and healthcare for women and infants.
Pandian further announced that Mission Shakti groups are now eligible for interest-free loans up to Rs 10 lakh, and assured that ASHA workers and Mission Shakti Community Cadres can anticipate positive news regarding their remuneration hike shortly.
